近年來為配合國內高等教育環境，提升競爭力，本校挹注了近十億的經費增設系所、禮聘高階師資、廣建校舍、添置設備，展現出強烈的轉型企圖。近三年來，本校無論產學研發、國際發明展均獲得最優表現及各項金牌，2011及2012年並聯續獲得全國氫能車大賽冠軍，並在2011年世界網路大學排名更列居台灣公私立大學總排名第67名。這表示大華愈六萬名餘名的畢業校友已經在企業界建立良好的學校聲譽，使得台灣各產業樂於聘用大華所訓練出來的學生，同時也顯示社會對大華的辦學成效與發展前景深具信心。現階段學校主體建設已全部峻工，嶄新大樓聳立校園，所有教室、實驗室全面空調化，校園設施、景觀煥然一新。這一切努力祇有一個目的，提供學生最優質的學能訓練，養成敬業樂群的產業菁英。 

In order to stand out among the many vocational universities, Ta Hwa University of Science and Technology has been striving to enhance its competitive edge.  Nearly a billion NT dollars have been spent on the expansion of academic departments, faculty recruitment, facilities, and the purchase of equipment to achieve the intended transformation. For the past three years, Ta Hwa University has performed outstandingly to win gold medals in academia-industry research and development, academic affairs, and international competitions. We were ranked as one of the top 67 universities in Taiwan in the 2011 International Rankings of Universities and won two consecutive championships in the National Hydrogen Car Contest from 2011 to 2012. There are over sixty thousand graduates of Ta Hwa University that help build a school’s reputation within the business world. Taiwan’s industry is pleased to employ our graduates, and it also demonstrates that the society has confidence in the achievements and prospects of Ta Hwa University. With the aim of providing students with the best learning environment and cultivating industry elites, construction on all main buildings has been completed, and all classrooms and laboratories are air-conditioned.
